Originally from Michigan, Leslie’s Regional credits include: West Side Story (Maria), The King and I (Tuptim), My Fair Lady (Eliza), Brigadoon (Jane), Carousel (Julie), Anything Goes (Hope), Dracula: An Original Musical (Vamperella), Terri in Life in the Trees at the Raven Playhouse in the NOHO Theatre district, Patty Andrews of the Andrews’ Sisters in the workshop of Peter Ratray’s adaptation of Studs Terkel’s The Good War at the Blank Theatre Company and in New York Off-Broadway at The McGinn-Cazale Theatre. Also The Merry Widow, with Edie Adams and a benefit concert of Jesus Christ Superstar with Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson for the Rubicon Theatre Company.
Leslie has sung on many independent movie recording projects, demos and original musical recordings and performances throughout Los Angeles. Leslie is one of the original cast members of VOX LUMIERE since 2000, performing for The New York/Avignon Film Festival, The Avignon Opera House, Cinematheque in Paris, The Ivy Substation and other venues throughout NY, L.A. and France. She can be heard on the VOX LUMIERE soundtracks for Metropolis and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Leslie premiered the role of the Diva in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the New York Avignon Film Festival 2001.
Motion picture credits include Nothing in Common, Harlem Nights, The Naked Gun, and Naked Gun 33 1/3. TV credits include appearances on The Jackie Thomas Show, Family Album, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital.
Currently living in Los Angeles Leslie is involved in many new recording projects. She also heads up her own graphic design company called lasoul design.
