Scottie Dicken

Vocalist

Scottie Dicken enjoys an eclectic musical life, and he is enjoying every step of the journey. Scottie's career in music began in the 3rd grade, when he was cast as 'Candy Cane #3' in his elementary school production of Hansel & Gretel. This breakout role propelled him onward to the University of Miami, where he earned vocal performance degrees in both classical music and jazz.

Scottie recently had the pleasure of singing on Neil Young's critically acclaimed album, 'Living with War' - very cool for a lifelong CSN&Y fan! In addition, has sung on numerous feature films, including Austin Powers, the X-Men series, and Superman Returns (2006). On-screen credits include the feature film First Daughter, and TV's 3rd Rock From The Sun, and Days of our Lives. Also an avid stage performer, Scott's favorite roles include Tommy in Brigadoon, Sky in Guys & Dolls, the Wolf/Prince in Into the Woods, and Billy in Carousel. As a performer, Scottie has enjoyed the opportunity to travel across the U.S.A., and throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Scottie lives in Los Angeles, where he and his wife Christy Crowl head up Key of Me Recording Studios, and its indie label counterpart Key of Me Records (visit www.komrecords.com ). At their studio in Studio City, Scottie enjoys wearing the hats of songwriter, arranger, performer, and recording/mixing engineer. In addition to a number of current TV projects, Scottie recently co-wrote and produced Christy Crowl's debut solo album, and her sophomore effort is currently in production.
