A CITY OF MACHINES.

A STORY ABOUT HUMANITY.

Towering skyscrapers. Machines that never sleep. A city divided between those who have everything and those who have nothing.

Nearly a century after Fritz Lang imagined this extraordinary future, Metropolis still has the power to astonish.

Vox Lumiere brings this legendary film to life with an entirely original score of rock, pop and cinematic music, performed live by extraordinary musicians and powerhouse vocalists.

Film, music and theatrical spectacle become one exhilarating experience.

This isn't just a movie you watch. It's a world you enter.

See Metropolis Come Alive

Vox Lumiere transforms legendary Metropolis into electrifying live concerts, with original music, extraordinary voices and a stage that comes alive around the screen.

The film is silent. The experience is anything but.

What people are saying.

Bree S., Carmarthan

Beg, borrow or steal to see this show. One of the most incredible shows I have EVER seen tonight, this should have people queuing round the block... Me mum & dad and the rest of the audience were all on our FEET!!

Jem D., Winchester

Truly remarkable. Stunning. Quite literally, I was reeling by the end of the show! Heartily recommend this to anyone - exhilarating, astonishingly accomplished rock music, and astonishing vocal gymnastics.

Teesa F., Carmarthen

It was so incredibly good I felt wobbly when I stood, the audience gave them a standing ovation. The band, the singing was so astonishing, the film almost seeming to accompany them. In fact, I'd watch it all again, immediately if I could!

The Music

Music is the heart and soul of Vox Lumiere. Rather than a traditional song-by-song album, the Metropolis Soundtrack is presented as a comprehensive work with two tracks featuring nearly 100 minutes of original music.
